1st. Day MADRID-LUGO
Departure from our bus Terminal at 8:00 a.m. to Lugo in the Region
of Galicia. Dinner and accommodations.
2nd. Day LUGO-LA CORUÑA
Breakfast. Departure to La Coruña. Short panoramic tour. In the
afternoon optional excursion to the Rías Altas through typical villages
as Pontedeume, Betanzos, etc. Dinner and accommodations.
3rd. Day LA CORUÑA-SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. Departure to Santiago de Compostela. City tour of this
legendary pilgrimage town, Plaza del Obradoiro, Cathedral, etc.
Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodations.
4th. Day SANTIAGO-RIAS BAJAS-VIGO
Breakfast and departure for the area of the Spanish Fjords (Rias
Bajas), through splendid landscapes: La Toja Island, ría de Arosa and
Pontevedra. Continuation to Vigo. Dinner and accommodations.
5th. Day VIGO-SALAMANCA
Breakfast and departure to the region of Castilla-León via Zamora.
Arrival to the monumental city of Salamanca. Time free to know its old
quarters and Plaza Mayor. Dinner and accommodations.
6th. Day SALAMANCA-COIMBRA
Breakfast. Departure to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to
continue via Guarda towards Coimbra, site of one of the oldest
universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal.
Dinner and accommodations.
7th. Day COIMBRA-FATIMA-LISBON
Breakfast. Departure to Fatima, important pilgrimage center. Time
free to visit the Shrine and afterwards continuation to Lisbon, the
capital of Portugal located at the mouth of river Tagus. Accommodations.
8th. Day LISBON
Breakfast and accommodations. Morning city sightseeing tour: old
Alfama Quarter, Tower of Belem, Monastery of Los Jeronimos, etc.
Afternoon at leisure. Optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.
9th. Day LISBON-MERIDA-MADRID
Breakfast. Departure for Mérida. Lunch and visit of the famous Roman
Theatre. Continuation to Madrid. End of services.
